Course Overview

The OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification course is a comprehensive safety
program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. The course provides
complete information on OSHA compliance issues. The course covers the following OSHA
required topics: An introduction to OSHA and OSHA regulations; general safety and health
provisions; welding and cutting; fire protection; process safety management: (PSM);
materials handling and storage; motor vehicles; excavations; concrete and masonry
construction ; lead safety in the workplace; use of explosives in the workplace; as well as,
cranes and rigging; scaffolds; stairways and ladders; health hazards, hazardous materials;
hazard communications; electrical safety; power and hand tools; personal protective

OSHA 30 Hrs Requirements

According to IACET, the entity that accredits us as a continuing training school, all courses
taken at our institution must be evaluated and must pass 70% of the written test to be
approved and accredited through the issuance of the corresponding card.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites needed to attend this 30 Hour OSHA training course. Students must
be able to verbally communicate with instructor in primary language of the training.
Students are required to complete 100% of the course and actively participate in all learning
activities.

Per OSHA Outreach Training Program requirements, Rev April 2017, a student is eligible for
makeup training only if they have completed at least 50% of the contact hours for the training
PRIOR to their absence.

Make-up time is permitted for this training course under condition that student completed at
least 50% of training. Students who miss time before finishing 50% of initial class or missed
more than 50% of total time must reschedule and attend the full training course.

Upon completion of the 30 Hour OSHA training course students will receive a certificate from
Fast Track TLG and within 15 days participants will receive an OSHA 30-Hour Construction
Safety & Health Program wallet card from the OSHA issued by Training Institute (OTI)
educational centers. The OSHA Outreach Program Training Guidelines (April 2017) require that
the OSHA course completion cards are issued directly to each student, regardless of who
paid for the training.
